Job Description
- Oversee and manage the company’s quality structure and systems.
- Develop plans aligned with company policies and ensure effective implementation.
- Collaborate with all departments to achieve defined quality objectives.
- Prepare and manage departmental and company-wide budgets and expenditures.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of company standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
- Supervise environmental management, 5S activities, and workplace safety.
- Manage and conduct training for subordinates and relevant personnel.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve processes within areas of responsibility.
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify and resolve product defects.
- Oversee and make decisions on non-conforming product issues.
- Manage quality assurance for new products and new parts.
- Report quality-related performance and issues to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate quality matters with customers and external parties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, or at least 10 years of direct experience in quality management.
- Completed training in ISO/IATF 16949, ISO 9000, and ISO 14001 quality management systems.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and capable of reading technical drawings.
- Knowledgeable in Core Tools: APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.
Able to communicate in English and Japanese.
