Responsibilities:
Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries that meet customer requirements.
Drive continuous improvement by exploring new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, pricing, continuity, and delivery.
Establish procedures and supervise monthly and annual physical inventory.
Lead, evaluate, and coach team members to achieve departmental goals.
Collaborate with product line coordinators on planning and forecasting customer orders to meet shipment schedules.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; negotiate terms to ensure favorable outcomes.
Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications and company standards.
Ensure compliance with company practices and procedures across all materials department functions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Materials, Logistics, or Production Planning Manager in the automotive industry.
Excellent proficiency in English and Chinese.
Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration.
