Key Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with the Japanese Manager to execute expansion strategies for the Thai market.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and prepare professional reports/documentation to guide business decisions.
- Act as the primary communicator and negotiator with Thai vendors, markets, and distributors in Bangkok and provincial areas.
- Facilitate FDA registration processes and source local manufacturing partners for specialized machinery.
- Travel to Japan approximately every 3–4 months to conduct quality checks on sweet potato crops and report findings back to the team.
- Provide essential translation and communication support to the Japanese Manager to overcome language barriers in the local market.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Proven background in Sales or Sales Support with a proactive, self-starting personality.
- Previous experience working within a Japanese corporate environment is required.
- Proficient in English at an intermediate level or higher and Japanese at a business level.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle for business use.
- A "startup" mentality—willing to grow alongside a new company. Stability is key; we are looking for candidates who are not "job hoppers".
- Prior experience in the food industry is highly advantageous.
