Key Responsibilities:
Partner directly with the Japanese Manager to execute expansion strategies for the Thai market.
Conduct comprehensive market research and prepare professional reports/documentation to guide business decisions.
Act as the primary communicator and negotiator with Thai vendors, markets, and distributors in Bangkok and provincial areas.
Facilitate FDA registration processes and source local manufacturing partners for specialized machinery.
Travel to Japan approximately every 3–4 months to conduct quality checks on sweet potato crops and report findings back to the team.
Provide essential translation and communication support to the Japanese Manager to overcome language barriers in the local market.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Proven background in Sales or Sales Support with a proactive, self-starting personality.
Previous experience working within a Japanese corporate environment is required.
Proficient in English at an intermediate level or higher and Japanese at a business level.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle for business use.
A "startup" mentality—willing to grow alongside a new company. Stability is key; we are looking for candidates who are not "job hoppers".
Prior experience in the food industry is highly advantageous.
