Assistant General Manager – Human Resources (SEA Region)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic HR initiatives aligned with business objectives across the SEA region.
Design and oversee performance management systems for the region.
Enhance recruitment strategies and processes for regional operations.
Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for the region.
Drive career development programs to support employee growth and succession planning.
Optimize HR-related expenditures and ensure cost-effective practices.
Establish and manage compensation and benefits policies tailored to regional needs.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations across the SEA region.
Analyze and report on key HR metrics such as turnover, recruitment, headcount, training, and personnel costs.
Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and enforce adherence to job description policies.
Provide guidance to location heads and HR teams on employee relations and grievance handling in line with company policies.
Regularly update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
Manage employee welfare and benefits programs across the region.
Supervise annual appraisal and bonus processes within set timelines.
Continuously improve HR service delivery and operational workflows.
Prepare annual HR budgets in alignment with corporate strategies.
Review and align HR action plans with overall business goals.
Mentor and support team members to enhance performance and career progression.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HRM, HRD, or HRBP roles.
At least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fluent in English.
Capable of working effectively under pressure.
Prior experience working within the SEA region is a plus.
