Assistant General Manager – Human Resources (SEA Region)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic HR initiatives aligned with business objectives across the SEA region. 
- Design and oversee performance management systems for the region. 
- Enhance recruitment strategies and processes for regional operations. 
- Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for the region. 
- Drive career development programs to support employee growth and succession planning. 
- Optimize HR-related expenditures and ensure cost-effective practices. 
- Establish and manage compensation and benefits policies tailored to regional needs. 
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations across the SEA region. 
- Analyze and report on key HR metrics such as turnover, recruitment, headcount, training, and personnel costs. 
- Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and enforce adherence to job description policies. 
- Provide guidance to location heads and HR teams on employee relations and grievance handling in line with company policies. 
- Regularly update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance. 
- Manage employee welfare and benefits programs across the region. 
- Supervise annual appraisal and bonus processes within set timelines. 
- Continuously improve HR service delivery and operational workflows. 
- Prepare annual HR budgets in alignment with corporate strategies. 
- Review and align HR action plans with overall business goals. 
- Mentor and support team members to enhance performance and career progression. 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline. 
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HRM, HRD, or HRBP roles. 
- At least 5 years in a managerial capacity. 
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. 
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
- Fluent in English. 
- Capable of working effectively under pressure. 
- Prior experience working within the SEA region is a plus.
