Our client is in the Logistics Provider industry. They are looking for a potential candidate who can fulfil their requirement as follows;

Location :                             Si Racha , Chonburi
 

Business Type :                    Heavy Equipment, Spare Part Logistics
 

Working day :                      Monday – Friday
 

Benefit:

  • Base Salary          50,000 – 80,000  THB month

  • Other Allowance  3,000 THB/ month

  • Bonus
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in port operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role directly managing crane operations and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of various types of port cranes (Quay crane, RTG) and their mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Implementing and managing maintenance programs (CMMS experience, preferred MAXIMO).
  • Understanding of international maritime and port safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Computer literate with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities e.g. Excel, Power BI
     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and direct daily operations of all port cranes (e.g., Quay cranes, RTG cranes). Optimize crane deployment and utilization to maximize cargo throughput and minimize vessel turnaround times. Monitor crane performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. Oversee technicians and contractors for timely, high-quality repairs and overhauls. Manage spare parts inventory and conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures to improve reliability.
  • Strong safety culture and ensure strict adherence to all port, national, and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA). Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Investigate all incidents and near-misses.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operators, technicians, and supervisors. Manage staffing, scheduling (Day & Night shift), performance reviews, and training needs.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget for crane operations and maintenance. Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage contracts with suppliers and service providers.
  • Stay abreast of new crane technologies and recommend upgrades or replacements to enhance overall efficiency and safety.
