Responsibilities:
- Sets the overall Quality vision for the site.
- Develops site-specific Quality strategies and plans aligned with global standards.
- Provides leadership and development for the local quality team.
- Establish and implement a comprehensive Quality and Food Safety Management System, ensuring it is always up to date.
- Support the implementation of HACCP/GMP instructions to maintain food safety standards.
- Ensure the targeted quality of end products through effective quality control measures.
- Apply various analysis methods such as trend analysis, root cause analysis, Pareto, and Ishikawa for addressing complaints, non-conformities, quality scores, lab results, and more.
- Oversee product and packaging testing in production, with support from global R&D.
- Liaises with the FDA for the initial factory registrations and permits.
- Ensure strict compliance with FDA and other relevant legislation, serving as the first point of contact with authorities.
- Maintain compliance with IFS/BRC standards.
- Manage lab activities, including lab analysis and setup.
- Oversee Pest Control Management to ensure a pest-free environment.
- Coach and develop the quality team to excel in their roles.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external audits, including FDA, Halal/Kosher, IFS/BRC, vegan, and more.
- Coordinate the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audits.
- Serve as the first point of contact for FDA, corporate QA, and Suppliers for Raw/Pack Materials.
- Report on food safety and quality topics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the plant team and manager.
- Assist the production and start-up manager in activities related to food safety and quality, including the validation of new production lines and addressing quality issues.
- Provide training, develop training tools, and maintain documentation for quality and food safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with specialization in food technology or chemistry.
- At least 15 years of experience in Food or FMCG manufacturing.
- Familiarity with FDA requirements and regulations.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools.
- Ability to perform duties following all regulatory food hygiene practices.
- Experience with BRC or IFS certification is a plus.
- Experience with a greenfield setup is a plus.
- Proficiency in both English and Thai
- Strong analytical thinking, technical skill and leadership skill.
- Able to work under pressure.
