The Production Manager will oversee large-scale manufacturing operations in a Tier 1 automotive environment, ensuring adherence to TPS principles. This role requires proven leadership in managing production teams of over 1,000 employees, driving efficiency, quality, and safety while meeting customer and business requirements.

Salary: 80,000 – 10,000 THB / month

Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and develop a large workforce (1,000+ employees) across multiple shifts.
Build strong supervisory and managerial teams to ensure effective communication and execution.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.
Plan, organize, and control production activities to meet customer demand, cost, and quality targets.
Implement and sustain TPS methodologies (Kaizen, Just-in-Time, Jidoka, Standardized Work).
Monitor KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), productivity, and defect rates.
Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support new product launches (NPI).
Optimize resource allocation, manpower planning, and production scheduling.
Control budgets, reduce waste, and improve cost efficiency through lean initiatives.
Oversee capacity planning for high-volume production lines.
Act as the primary liaison with OEM customers for production-related matters.
Support technical review meetings and customer audits.
Ensure timely delivery and responsiveness to client requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior production management role.
Proven track record of managing large-scale operations (1,000+ employees).
Strong knowledge of TPS, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent communication skills in English and Thai (for multinational collaboration).
Able to speak Japanese would be a plus.
