We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations in a high-volume, Tier 1 automotive environment. This role demands strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of automotive production systems. The ideal candidate will oversee plant performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with corporate goals across a workforce of 2,000+ employees.

 

Position:                                   Operation Manager

Salary:                                     120,000 – 150,000 THB / month

Welfares:                                 Bonus, PVF, Housing, COLA, and others                        

Location:                                   Amata City, Chonburi (Amatanakorn)

Working Day:                           Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics departments.

  • Develop and execute operational strategies to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

  • Manage and mentor plant leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.

  • Oversee capacity planning, resource allocation, and workforce optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other relevant automotive standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and finance.

  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.

  • Lead change management and digital transformation efforts where applicable.

  • Represent the plant in customer audits, corporate reviews, and strategic planning sessions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior operations role.

  • Proven leadership in managing large-scale operations (2,000+ employees).

  • Strong knowledge of Tier 1 supplier dynamics and OEM expectations.

  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing analytics tools.

  • Good command in English.

  • Able to speak Japanese would be a plus.
