POSITION:          GM – OEM PLASTIC MUNUFACTURING

BUSINESS:          OEM PLATIC MANUFACTURING 

LOCATION:         BANGKOK – SAMUTPRAKRAN

SALARY:             150,000 – 200,000 THB

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our plastic manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, managing cross-functional teams, and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of the plastic manufacturing operations, including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
3. Lead and mentor a team of department managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
4. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
5. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies to meet customer requirements and drive business growth.
6. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, monitoring key performance indicators and taking corrective actions as needed.
7. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry partners, to support business objectives and drive long-term success.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and market developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
9. Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, such as lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization projects.
10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, promoting brand awareness and networking with potential clients and partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the plastic manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices in plastic injection molding and blow molding manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence, implementing process improvements, and achieving cost savings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing plans to achieve business growth and profitability.
