Our client is a leader in high-quality processing and packaging equipment, food ingredients and packaging materials to the food industry in Thailand. They are seeking a qualified and motivated Technical Service Manager with the following duties:  
POSITION: TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER THAILAND
SUMMARY:
This position is a key member of Thailand management team, with responsibility for the management or our technical services business and teams across Australia and New Zealand, including managing technical support, projects and the spares business; and plays an important role in maintaining high quality customer and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Technical Service Strategy
  • To drive, development, implementation of business strategy for the Technical Services department.
  • Assist in formulating the company's future services direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
  • To develop and monitor performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
  • Communication with customers regarding maintenance activities, technical issues, continuously building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Build and maintain customer, supplier, agency, industry changes, to ensure Company is at the cutting edge of market trends, both locally and internationally.
  • Communication with Service Technician to ensure maintenance activities and other technical issues are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Communication to the Accounts Team and customers regarding invoicing, authorisation and debtor management.
  • Manage Services team to promote a positive work environment and drive performance and compliance with processes.
  • Manage all aspects of technical support operations, supervising coordination, scheduling of Service Technicians, managing leave coverage, to maximise utilisation and minimise down-time and overtime, ensuring appropriate levels of services are provided to customers.
  • Establish and develop a technical projects structure, ensuring processes and resourcing are set up and scalable to effectively drive and support projects.
  • Review technical project scoping and costing; reviewing labour quoting, resource management plans and order specifications as required.
  • Compliance; Develop and review quality control and quality control mechanisms to ensure all maintenance, repair, and breakdown work is completed to the Company standard.
  • Comply with and enforce WHS and HR policies and procedures for Company, guiding the team to ensure compliance across the organisation.
  • Audit processes and reviews take place as necessary to guarantee the compliance of imported systems and products to Australian standards.
  • Prepare report and compliance on machinery, technical processes are to the required standards.

Skills and Requirement  
Experience And Qualifications
  • Bachelor / Higher Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Must have experience at least 5 years in management as a Service or Technical team remotely.
  • Experience as a Service Manager of Capital Goods, preferably in a MNC.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to manage and guide employees to achieve objectives and ensure appropriate processes.
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment and field installation requirements
  • Ability to work effectively with a broad customer base and range of internal stakeholders.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English

  • Ability to influence and lead team members.
