Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Senior Purchasing Manager to lead strategic procurement for raw materials and packaging components in manufacturing environment. This role is critical in driving cost efficiency, supplier performance and sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost competitiveness and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with production, R&D and logistics teams to align purchasing with operational and sustainability objectives.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Lead and mentor the purchasing team, driving continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards and sustainability practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
- More than 10 years of procurement experience with at least 7 years in a leadership role in packaging manufacturing or related industries.
- Strong negotiation, analytical and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in packaging is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and stakeholders.
- Good English communication skills
