POSITION: PRODUCTION MANAGER
BUSINESS: INDUSTRIAL PRODUCT
LOCATION: BANGKOK
SALARY: 60,000 – 80,000 THB
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning and Management: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and business goals. Monitor daily operations, including wire drawing, annealing, and finishing processes, to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production staff. Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork to enhance performance and employee morale.
- Quality Control: Enforce strict adherence to product quality specifications and international standards. Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any defects.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintenance & Safety: Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure all machinery and equipment, including wire drawing machines and furnaces, are maintained and operated safely. Ensure the production facility complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Reporting: Track and report on key production metrics, including output, downtime, and material usage. Use data to make informed decisions and present performance updates to senior management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Industrial) or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in a production management role within the stainless steel, metal, or wire manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of wire drawing, heat treatment, annealing, and other wire processing techniques is required. Experience with various grades of stainless steel is a must.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a production team. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Safety and Quality: Strong commitment to workplace safety and experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO).
