Job Title: Production Manager (Japanese-speaking N3 or above)

Salary: Depends on experience, open to discuss

Location: Samut Prakan, Thailand 

Working time: Monday – Saturday 8:00 – 17:00 (with 2-3 Saturdays worked per month)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product planning and development for refrigerant piping and heat exchanger systems, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management from concept to commercialization, including design, prototyping, testing, and production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality assurance, and sales to ensure product success.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage product cost structures, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product design and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
  • Prepare and present product performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial or product leadership role.

     

  • Proven track record in product development, project management, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Japanese manufacturing environment or with Japanese clients.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Multilingual capabilities (Japanese, English, Thai) are a plus.
