Production Manager

Manufacturing and assembly of refrigerant piping for commercial air conditioning systems.
Production of heat exchangers for water heaters and related equipment.

Job Title:                 Production Manager (Japanese Speaking)

Job Type:                 Full-Time, Monday-Saturday, 08:00-17:00 hrs. (1 time leave for Saturday/month)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet customer demands and optimize resources.
• Supervise and mentor production supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs and production metrics, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders, including clients and suppliers, both verbally and in writing.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on production performance and improvement plans.

Qualifications:

• Good command of Japanese & English

   

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in HVAC or heat exchanger manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles.

• Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
