Job Type:                 Full-Time, Monday-Saturday, 08:00-17:00 hrs. (1 time leave for Saturday/month)

Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and daily oversight to all operational departments, including Production Management, Production Control, Maintenance, and Quality Control staff, to ensure seamless execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

• Cost and Budget Management: Develop, manage, and control the annual operations budget. Implement cost-reduction strategies and improve operational performance metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and manufacturing variance.

• Process Excellence & CI: Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, optimize production flow, and enhance facility efficiency across all assembly and fabrication lines.

• Quality & Compliance: Partner closely with the Quality Control function to enforce strict adherence to ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and internal specifications for all finished goods (piping and heat exchangers).

• Resource and Capacity Planning: Strategically plan long-term manufacturing capacity, personnel, and capital expenditures (CAPEX) to align with corporate growth projections and market demand.

• Safety and Environment: Ensure strict compliance with all local and national safety and environmental regulations, fostering a proactive, safety-first culture throughout the facility.

Qualification:

• Excellent command of Japanese (N3 or above is preferred) and English.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) or a related technical field. Master's degree is a strong advantage.

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in high-volume, precision manufacturing, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Plant Manager, Director of Operations, or General Manager).

• Proven, in-depth experience in HVAC/R, metal fabrication, brazing/welding, or heat exchanger manufacturing.

• Demonstrated success in implementing and sustaining Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, and achieving significant improvements in OEE and cost reduction.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, budgeting, CAPEX planning, and P&L responsibility.

• Exceptional ability to lead, mentor, and manage a large, multi-functional operational team.
