Job Type:                 Full-Time, Monday-Saturday, 08:00-17:00 hrs. (1 time leave for Saturday/month)

Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Scheduling:

  • Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and raw material availability for both the piping assembly and heat exchanger lines.

  • Translate the MPS into detailed Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and daily production schedules.

• Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels for key materials, including copper and aluminum tubing, fittings, brazing materials, and components used in heat exchanger fabrication.

  • Implement and manage strategies (e.g., Kanban, JIT) to minimize excess inventory while ensuring sufficient stock to prevent production downtime.

• Capacity Planning:

  • Analyze and monitor current production capacity for critical processes (e.g., tube bending, welding/brazing, coil winding, assembly) and recommend adjustments to equipment or staffing to meet fluctuating demand.

  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and scheduling conflicts.

• Logistics and Flow Control:

  • Coordinate the flow of materials from procurement to the production floor and through assembly and final staging.

  • Collaborate with the QC Manager to schedule inspection points without disrupting the production cycle.

• System Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain and optimize data accuracy within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.

  • Generate and present key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, schedule adherence, and inventory turnover.

Qualifications:

• Good command of Japanese (N3 or above) and English.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a production planning/control managerial role.

• Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and MS Office Suite.

• Familiarity with ISO standards and Lean Manufacturing principles.

• Experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Heat Exchanger manufacturing is a strong advantage.

• Demonstrated strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
