Our client is listed consumer goods manufacturing company.
The Deputy Managing Director will play a critical role in supporting the overall management and strategic direction of the listed consumer goods company. Collaborating closely with the Managing Director and other senior executives, the Deputy Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing key operational functions, driving growth initiatives and ensuring the company's financial success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the consumer goods industry and possess strong leadership and strategic skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to formulate and execute the company's strategic plans and objectives.
- Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies to enhance market position and profitability.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement process improvements and cost-effective measures to optimize manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze financial reports, and recommend strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Provide strong leadership to department heads and teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop talent within the organization to build a high-performing team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, government authorities, and business partners.
- Represent the company at industry events and forums to enhance its corporate image.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Extensive experience in senior management roles, ideally in commercial roles, overseeing both local and international operations in a listed consumer goods company in Thailand.
- In-depth understanding of the Thai business landscape, regulatory environment and compliance standards.
- Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in driving organizational change and achieving strategic objectives.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall strategy.
- Familiarity with Thai corporate governance principles and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in Thai and proficiency in English
