Job Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide visionary and strategic leadership for the entire food manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for driving overall profitability, sustainable growth, and operational excellence while ensuring the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance. The CEO acts as the principal communication link between the Executive Team, the Board of Directors, and key external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Strategy: Define, articulate, and execute the company’s long-term vision and strategic plan, ensuring alignment across all business units (Manufacturing, R&D, Sales, and Finance).
Market Leadership: Identify new market opportunities, product categories, and trends (e.g., sustainability, clean label) to drive innovation and enhance the company's competitive position and market share.
Oversee Operations: Ensure world-class performance in all manufacturing facilities, optimizing production capabilities, supply chain efficiency, and distribution logistics to meet market demand.
Quality & Compliance: Uphold and enforce stringent food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and regulatory compliance to safeguard product integrity and brand reputation.
Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging methodologies to reduce waste, minimize costs, and maximize production efficiency.
P&L Accountability: Hold ultimate accountability for the company’s financial performance, including managing the full Profit & Loss (P&L), capital allocation, and driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing strategic financial input for all major decisions.
Executive Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing Executive Team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and ethical conduct.
Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with the Board of Directors, investors, key customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CEO, President, Managing Director, or in a similar senior executive leadership role, preferably within the FMCG or Food Manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of food manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and distribution logistics.
Demonstrated success in driving significant business growth and achieving financial targets.
Exceptional strategic thinking, financial acumen, and proven P&L management experience.
Fluency in English is required.
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
