Position Summary

The Spare Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities related to spare parts operations, including technical support, inventory and stock management, spare parts sales, and service sales. This role requires strong engineering knowledge to manage technical products effectively and ensure availability, accuracy, and timely support to customers and service teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage overall spare parts operations to ensure availability and timely delivery to customers and service teams.

  • Apply engineering knowledge to identify correct parts, interpret technical drawings, and provide technical guidance.

  • Support customers and internal teams in troubleshooting and selecting appropriate spare parts.

  • Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels, including forecasting, replenishment, and safety stock management.

  • Monitor stock movement and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and resolve any supply issues.

  • Drive spare parts and service sales through quotation preparation, pricing management, and customer follow-up.

  • Collaborate with engineering, service, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations and problem resolution.

  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status, sales performance, and operational KPIs.

  • Ensure all spare parts documentation, manuals, and technical data are updated and properly maintained.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields).

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in spare parts management, technical service, or related roles.

  • Strong technical understanding of machinery or industrial equipment spare parts.

  • Experience with inventory management systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of spare parts sales, service sales, and customer support processes.

  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (spoken and written).

  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
