Job Summary:
The Senior QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the quality control processes within the organization. This includes ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior QC Supervisor will lead a team of QC inspectors, coordinate with other departments, and contribute to the development of quality assurance policies and procedures.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the QC team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient quality control processes.
  • Develop and implement QC strategies to maintain and improve product/service quality.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and other relevant departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality control processes, procedures, and results.
  • Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Keep the QC team informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in quality management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering).
  • Proven experience in a quality control leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment or Packaging Manufacturer.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is a plus.
