Japanese Interpreter – Manufacturing (Factory Setting)
Location: Ayutthaya
Manufacturing factory producing electronic components and automotive parts.
Qualifications
Language Skills (Most Important Requirement)
- Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N3 or higher
- Able to understand native Japanese accents clearly
- Proficient in consecutive interpreting (speech‑to‑speech translation)
- Able to summarize key points without translating word for word too rigidly
- Able to maintain appropriate tone, politeness levels, and emotional control
Factory Work Skills
- Able to work under pressure (e.g., interpreting on a noisy production line)
- Willing to work on-site, including wearing safety helmets and safety shoes
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
Additional Preferred Skills
- Able to use Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to write emails in Japanese
- Able to translate basic technical documents
- Strong coordination skills between Thai and Japanese staff
Salary: 30,000 THB (Negotiable)
Working Hours: Monday – Alternative Saturday 8.00 – 17.00
