Responsibilities:
 

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
• Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the organization.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting effective communication and resolving employee issues.
• Provide language support in Japanese for HR processes, documents, and communications.
• Assist in translation of HR policies, training materials, and other relevant documents.
• Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees.
• Facilitate language-specific training sessions as needed.
• Develop and update HR policies, ensuring alignment with local laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws.
• Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Provide guidance on performance improvement plans as needed.
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Organize cultural events or activities to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
• Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring that employees are well-informed about available benefits.
• Coordinate with external vendors for benefits administration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of HR experience with Japanese manufacturing.
• Business in Japanese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Experience in cross-cultural communication and understanding.
• Able to work alternate Saturday.
• Able to travel by own car.
