Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate directly with the Japanese Managing Director (MD) to support cost accounting activities.
Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting cost-related data to improve decision-making.
Help streamline and enhance costing processes and workflows.
Work closely with the MD in the Accounting Department, focusing on data handling and analysis (note: this is not a core accounting role).
Prepare regular reports and summaries to support cost optimization initiatives.
Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Strong English communication skills required (ability to communicate effectively with the Japanese MD); Japanese language skills are a plus.
Prior accounting experience is not mandatory but will be considered an advantage.
Background in data analysis or cost-related tasks is beneficial.
