Responsibilities:
•Develop and execute the company’s overall accounting and financial strategy
Oversee monthly and annual financial closing processes and audit responses
Plan budgets, manage variances, and oversee cash flow planning and control
Handle tax declarations and coordinate with external tax advisors
Lead and manage the accounting department, including team development
Prepare financial reports and management analysis for executives
Improve and standardize accounting systems and business workflows
Coordinate external audits and ensure timely tax filings
Stay updated on accounting standards and tax regulations
Demonstrate proficiency in PC tools (e.g., Excel, accounting software)
Collaborate in creating accurate financial figures for the company
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Understand and align with Japanese business culture and practices
Bring experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry
