Position: Senior Technical Support Engineer
Salary: THB 60,000 – 80,000
Location: Bangkok
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Work independently on different phase of engineering projects from system design, software programming to project execution and final site validation
- Deliver consulting projects by adapting and applying international and local machinery safety standards, conducting onsite assessment and validation, preparing detailed reports in English
- Oversee and ensure technical support assistance to customers
- Respond in a timely manner to all customer enquiries related to products and services
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and prepare solutions to resolve all technical issues related to products and services
- Follow up with customers in a timely manner to ensure all issues are addressed to satisfaction after resolution or after troubleshooting
- Provide product and safety training to customers when required
- Provide technical support to the company events, roadshows and exhibitions
- Lead the technical topics on seminars, presentations and roadshows when required.
JOB QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical discipline
- 5+ years working experience with automation and safety products, safety assessments and automation and safety solutions
- Demonstrated understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, automation design and integration
- Strong understanding of machinery safety in manufacturing environment
- Possess a solid understanding of architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings
- Familiar with Allen Bradley, Siemens and or other PLC and HMI programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – English
- Technical knowledge in machinery safety standards (e.g. ISO 12100, 13849, 62061) is an advantage
- Technical knowledge in process safety (e.g. HAZOP, ATEX, HAC) is an advantage
- Travelling is required
