Software Architect

Location: Bang Pa-in, Ayudhya

Overview: Our client is an automotive manufacturer, providing many businesses in subsidiaries. The candidate will work in the Automation & IoT business. 

Description

• Design Software Project, translate business and product needs into robust, efficient technical solutions

• Supervise all phases of the development lifecycle, from sprint planning, code reviews, testing and deployment

• Lead architectural reviews, enforce best practices and uphold technical documentation standards 

• Provide direction on technology selection, modernization efforts, and drive platform advancement

• Work with developer, MKT team and MD – go to customer site to gather requirement, present to customers. (The candidate isn’t the main presenter, he/she is the technical person to suggest whether this solution able to use with some technology or not) 

• Lead, manage and mentor developer team (over 10 ppl) , both Web application and mobile application developer to deliver high-quality, timely software solutions

• Coordinate with Chinese partner for dealing devices. 

• Identify potential vendors and lead strategic tech collaborations

• Ensure engineering activities to support the overall company strategy and product goals.

• Drive up-to-date development methodologies, technologies and agile methods.

• Oversee budget allocation, KPI tracking and the efficiency of engineering operations

• Develop and maintain an architecture that ensures scalability, security, and readiness for future needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, Software Team Lead, Software Architect, with 3+ years in management roles  

• Have experiences in working as developer before.

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, and modern tech stacks

• A Solid experiences of leading the design and scaling complex systems as a Lead or Principal Architect

• English communication

• Able to work 1 Saturday per month.
