Position:   Project Coordinator / Project Management (Japanese Speaking)

Salary:       70,000 – 100,000THB +/- (Negotiable) 

Location:   Bangkok (BTS, MRT Line)

Key Responsibilities of the position:

Project Coordination

  • Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow‑up action items.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Assist in managing project documentation such as drawings, specifications, and contracts.

 Communication (Japanese–English–Thai)

  • Act as a communication bridge between Japanese management and local project teams.
  • Translate technical documents, emails, reports, and presentations (JP–EN–TH).
  • Provide on-site interpretation during meetings, inspections, and client visits.

Project Progress & Reporting

  • Monitor site progress and update reports for Japanese stakeholders.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports, progress charts, and risk summaries.
  • Communicate any project delays, risks, or issues to the project manager.

Construction Project Support

  • Coordinate site activities including scheduling, subcontractor management, and materials follow‑up.
  • Ensure that construction operations follow safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Assist in procurement processes—quotation check, vendor coordination, local sourcing.

Administration & Documentation

  • Maintain project databases, logs, and document control systems.
  • Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice processing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or related fields.

  • Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or above) is strongly preferred.

  • Good command of English and/or Thai for cross-functional communication.

  • 2–5 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination roles.

  • Understanding construction processes, project lifecycle, and technical drawings is an advantage.

  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Ability to work at project sites and travel as required.
