Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage process engineering activities across key manufacturing stages, typically including SMT (Surface Mount Technology), DIP/THT, and Final Assembly/Test (FCT).
• Lead the development and documentation of robust manufacturing processes by creating, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Process Flows.
• Responsible for DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis and providing technical feedback to R&D/Design teams to ensure new products can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to optimize cycle times, reduce variability, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Analyze production data, yields, and defect rates to identify root causes of manufacturing issues and implement permanent corrective actions (PCAs).
• Manage the selection, qualification, and implementation of new manufacturing
equipment, tooling, and materials to improve process capability and handle new product introductions (NPI).
Qualifications:
• 7 years up SMT&DIP PE experience
• Knowledge of PCB design review
• Ability of fixture design and design guide line set up
• Knowledge of process data CPK analysis
• Can communicate in English
