Responsibilities:
• Set the overall masterplan plan for the site, defining clear objectives and milestones.
• Cultivate a safety, quality, and continuous improvement mindset among the technical teams.
• Manage and lead the Maintenance/Technical teams, including recruitment, training, development, and problem-solving.
• Participate in the development of design and installation specifications, commissioning plans, and evaluation criteria for equipment and technical suppliers.
• Support the final check-out and commissioning of new installations, ensuring adherence to functional specifications.
• Develop acceptance tests and inspection criteria to validate equipment and systems.
• Develop and maintain a value-added preventive maintenance program, incorporating tasks and improvement loops.
• Utilize predictive and non-destructive testing methodologies to identify and address reliability issues.
• Contribute to a risk management plan to anticipate and mitigate potential risks that could impact plant operations.
• Develop engineering solutions to address repetitive failures and operational challenges, including capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance issues.
• Apply data analysis techniques, such as statistical process control, reliability modeling, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma methodology.
• Implement contemporary maintenance strategies while leveraging your people management and technical skills.
• Establish performance management processes to ensure role clarity, skills development, and job satisfaction within the teams.
• Actively participate in the site leadership team, serving as a senior member and role model for safety, quality, and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Over 10 years of extensive experience in maintenance or technical service, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with packaging machines and bakery machines is a valuable asset.
• Experience in the food industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with technical aspects of utilities and telecommunications is a plus.
• Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systems and implementation.
• Experience with greenfield project setups is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Ultimo is a valuable addition.
• Proficiency in both English and Thai
Specific knowledge:
• Proficiency in mechanical components and mechanisms.
• Expertise in electrical components and controls.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logical Controls (PLC) systems.
• Strong theoretical understanding acquired through Higher Technical Education.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software.
• Ability to perform duties following all regulatory GMP/FDA food hygiene practices.
