Compliance Manager (TH, EN, CH Speaking) - Bangkok base
Responsibilities:
- Support the global operations of the company by collaborating closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management teams across different markets.
- Collaborate with various departments on maintaining corporate and SME money lending licenses for Financial Group.
- Lead regulatory discussions for new business initiatives in Thailand, acting as the main liaison for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Advance the international compliance agenda, including policy development, coordination with regulatory bodies on local compliance issues like sanctions, data privacy (PDPA), and consumer protection, and ensuring robust risk assessment and program implementation for money lending activities.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to engage effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Understanding of FINTECH and money lending aspects, including credit loans and regulatory frameworks.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Legal, or Finance; or equivalent professional background.
- Minimum 8-15 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
- Robust understanding of regulatory and compliance principles.
- Collaborative team member with the capability to work autonomously.
- Adept at handling pressure and adhering to deadlines.
- Experience in e-commerce, money lending, or financial services is advantageous.
- Occasional travel to China may be required.
