Position: QA Senior Officer (Asian Regional) – Automotive
Salary: 30,000 – 45,000THB +/- (Negotiable)
Location: Bangkok (BTS, MRT Line)
Our client is big brand manufacturing automotive parts.
Key Responsibilities of the position:
Regional Quality Management
Conduct and monitor quality system audits across Asian plants and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and internal corporate standards.
Consolidate regional quality performance and prepare monthly/quarterly reports.
New Model Launch & APQP Support
Lead and monitor APQP activities with regional manufacturing sites.
Review and approve PPAP documents, Control Plans, MSA, PFMEA, and process validation.
Coordinate with plant teams and customers during pre-production and SOP phases.
Customer Quality Interface
Act as the main point of contact for regional OEM quality matters.
Manage customer complaints, warranty issues, and quality claims.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions (e.g., 8D, 5Why).
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
Lead problem-solving activities using 5Why, Fishbone, and PDCA methodologies.
Drive regional quality improvement projects and standardization initiatives.
Track and monitor KPIs (PPM, FPY, Delivery Quality, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
Minimum 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA.
Regional or cross-country experience is an advantage.
Strong English communication skills.
Excellent analytical and coordination skills.
