Job Title: Japanese Interpreter (JLPT N2 or Above) – Manufacturing Industry

Location: Prachinburi

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Japanese Interpreter to support communication and documentation within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a good command of Japanese (JLPT N2 or above), proven experience in industrial settings, and the ability to facilitate clear and accurate communication between Japanese and local staff across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide interpretation during meetings, discussions, and site visits involving operation staff, engineers, back-office teams, and clients.

  • Act as a center interpreter to support cross-functional communication.

  • Translate technical documents, manuals, specifications, and reports related to manufacturing processes and equipment.

  • Ensure accuracy and clarity in translated materials, maintaining technical terminology.

  • Bridge cultural and language gaps between Japanese and local staff to foster mutual understanding and collaboration.

  • Support Japanese expatriates in adapting to local work culture and practices.

  • Assist in preparing meeting minutes, summaries, and reports for management.

  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth communication flow.

Qualifications:

  • JLPT N2 or higher certification.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Japanese interpreter in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing terminology and processes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and Thai/English.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and translation tools is a plus.

  • Experience working with Japanese clients or expatriates.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or other Japanese industrial practices.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
