POSITION: ENGINEERING PROJECT COORDINATOR – Installation & Commissioning

Job Summary
The Project Coordinator – Installation & Commissioning plays a critical role in ensuring successful project delivery and enhancing performance within the assigned region. This position provides leadership and accountability for installation and commissioning activities, supporting the overall Project Execution function.
The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Project Managers, Engineering, Automation, and Supply Chain teams throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage installation & commissioning plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely project execution.
Prepare RFQ documentation and evaluate supplier proposals for technical compliance.
Monitor progress, quality, and cost throughout project phases.
Support EHS compliance and implement site-specific safety plans.
Act as a key stakeholder across all project phases from bid to handover.
Ensure projects meet financial, schedule, and technical objectives.
Maintain effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Drive process improvements and best practices for installation and commissioning activities.
Provide leadership and oversight for third-party teams during site activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
Minimum 3 years in a similar role or 5 years in site coordination/mechanical installation supervision.
Strong knowledge of mechanical construction and process plant installation.
Experience managing large-scale, multi-country projects.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Ability to interpret technical documentation (P&ID, 3D models, layouts).
Basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation/control systems.
Knowledge of EHS standards and hazard control during installation.
Proven ability to lead third-party teams and manage site activities effectively.
Willingness to travel up to 30% across the APAC region for short-term assignments.
