Job role
- Act as a liaison between customers and suppliers and first point of contact
- Place and schedule orders with suppliers
- Process customer demand
- Maintain data integrity of the MRP parameters
- Monitor stock levels
- Manage the MRP preparation and follow up of the mail box errors
- Manage the chase list by reviewing open orders and expediting material if
- necessary
- Follow up market place list if required for the specific branch
- Manage changes and implementations of new parts and change over parts
- Optimize packaging
- Prepare customs documentation and follow up (if applicable)
- Reporting on packaging in customer portals (if applicable)
- Manage the customer portal (if applicable)
- Support the implementation of the operational plan and support the
- measuring and reporting of the status
- Apply and safeguard the Facil values in daily operations
- Escalate market and organizational needs and opportunities to your direct
- manager and work on continuous improvement projects to adapt to the
- changing and challenging environment
- Perform other job related duties assigned by your manager
Qualifications:
- Education Master or minimum bachelor degree or equal by experience
- Professional experience 2-3 years experience in material planning is a plus
- preferably in dynamic environment
- Product knowledge
- Process knowledge: Knowledge of relevant quality standards. Act according to the relevant quality standards and the company
- management system (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and others where applicable)
- Language skills Company language is English
- Knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Computer skills Good knowledge of Microsoft office package
- Experience with ERP package is a plus
- Analytical skills Good Analytical and organizational skills
- Other skills Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
