Our client is an MES software now seeking for a MES Application Consultant, who can implement and management project for their manufacturing customer.
Responsibilities:
- Follow Project Execution Methodology to document design, support validation, and achieve sign-off from customer. The use of in-house tools for MES/MIS/MOM projects.
- Work with customer to map the as-is and to-be business processes, set objectives, specify MES/MIS/MOM requirements, develop to system requirements.
- Perform MES /MIS/ MOM system design configuration as per the approved design.
- Support unit/integration testing of application developed either using a MES Product or a customized application.
- Participates in major/minor system upgrades and implementation.
- Travelling: flexible to travel to take up the project responsibilities.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 2 years MES / MOM implementation experience in Oil & Gas or Food & Beverages.
- 2-5 Years’ experience in MES software system
- Previous experience of business process mapping, requirements analysis, scope definition (and then developing a project to that scope), design and implementation of software solutions
- Knowledge and solid experience with MES systems (Wonderware, Rockwell, etc.), data integration, server hardware and networks, ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience of implemented at least 2 -3 projects of MES / MIS / MOM nature in Oil & Gas or food & beverages
- Experience with Visual Studio.Net c#, SQL programing
- Ability to effectively use and configure SQL/Oracle databases, knowledge of SQL reporting services or any other reporting tools like business objects, etc.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Team Player
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in project management preferred, preferably managing computer application development projects (Optional), good interpersonal skills
- Local Thai literate and English Literate
- Strong skills in Management, Communication, Project Management
