Job Summary:
The Sourcing Strategic Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify sourcing needs, evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the procurement process.
 
Key Responsibilities:
1.    Strategic Sourcing:
•    Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to meet business objectives.
•    Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and requirements.
•    Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and market trends.
•    Evaluate supplier capabilities, cost structures, and performance to make informed sourcing decisions.
2.    Supplier Management:
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
•    Negotiate terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery, and quality standards.
•    Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure continuous improvement.
•    Identify and qualify new suppliers to enhance the supplier base.
3.    Contract Negotiation:
•    Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
•    Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
•    Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contractual agreements.
4.    Cost Management:
•    Analyze costs associated with the sourcing process and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
•    Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and service.
•    Track and report cost savings achieved through strategic sourcing activities.
5.    Process Improvement:
•    Continuously review and improve sourcing and procurement processes.
•    Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus.)
•    Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, preferably in Packaging industry or else.
•    Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•    Knowledge of market trends, industry standards, and best practices.
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
•    Business to Fluent in English.
