Our client is a safety product company.
They are looking for a skilled and energetic Sales Channel Partner Manager to lead sales efforts focused on industrial products for government and public sector clients. This role involves managing relationships with government agencies, identifying sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
1. Represent products to the Customer:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key people at all levels.
Understand the hospital’s long-term goals and how company can support them.
Identify decision-makers and influencers.
Advise company leadership on account strategy and sponsorship opportunities.
Stay informed about changes within the account.
Actively promote company’s products, solutions, and values.
2. Develop and Manage Account Plans:
Create short, medium, and long-term plans for sales activities and product offerings.
Track what equipment the customer already uses
Use CRM tools to manage deals and forecast future opportunities.
Analyze which deals were won or lost and why.
Monitor the return on marketing efforts.
Keep detailed knowledge of the customer’s decision-making structure up to date.
3. Coordinate Internal Support for the Customer:
Help resolve customer issues related to orders, delivery, invoicing, training, and service.
Organize customer requests such as demos, factory visits, and documentation.
Clarify terms and conditions and help close sales smoothly.
4. Manage Product Demonstrations:
Plan and coordinate product demos, including timing and equipment setup.
Work with specialists to ensure demos are effective and well-executed.
5. Share Market and Competitive Insights:
Keep customers informed about market trends and adjust plans as needed.
Share competitive information internally to help marketing and sales teams.
Keep CRM data accurate and up to date.
Participate in internal meetings and contribute insights.
6. Support Internal Collaboration:
Share useful account information with sales, account management, and marketing teams.
Help marketing with expert coordination and account-specific strategies.
7. Handle Pricing and Discounts:
Manage pricing and discounts within company guidelines to close deals.
Ensure profitability and strategic alignment when offering promotions or sponsorships.
8. Plan and Execute Customer Visits:
Organize and carry out customer meetings.
Coordinate logistics with internal teams to ensure smooth visits.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in Business-to-Government sales, preferably in industrial products.
Strong understanding of government procurement processes and tendering.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to build long-term relationships with government clients.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
English language proficiency required
