The Safety Staff role supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation’s Safety Management System (SMS). The position assists with hazard identification, risk assessments, workplace inspections, incident investigations, safety training, and compliance documentation to promote a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
Support the safety leader in developing, implementing, and maintaining the SMS
Conduct risk assessments and identify workplace hazards
Inspect operations and report on compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards
Assist with investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses
Conduct safety inspections in designated operational areas
Assist in preparing and delivering safety training activities for employees
Promote safety awareness across the organisation
Prepare and maintain organised safety records, reports, and compliance documentation
Coordinate with internal departments to support safety operations
Perform other duties assigned by the safety leader
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
Valid Professional Safety Officer licence as required under Thai law
Experience in safety operations, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of Safety Management Systems and ISO 45001 standards
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, identifying hazards, and investigating incidents and near misses
Good interpersonal and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
Ability to support safety training activities and promote safety awareness
Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prepare safety reports and maintain compliance records
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
