Job Function:
- Lead and supports the regional technical team, sales and marketing during commercial, customer discussions and bringing the developed products to market.
- Provide training and coaching team, newcomer for product development process, overall project and project management methodology.
- Work with commercial team for Customer Engagement program and maintain good relationship with customers.
- Work with sale and marketing team (Global and Regional) for new product.
- Lead Rapid Value Innovation and accelerate cost innovation and new product development.
- Lead and work with customer on Front End Innovation Projects.
- Innovation idea for new product, process. Wing of Change. Work with regional technical team to deliver new product concept and design.
- Development and improvement of existing products and services, to better meet customer needs.
- Lead and support internal team for workflow process implementation.
- Support manufacturing process, quality improvement and troubleshooting with team.
- Leads technical negotiations with partner and sub-contractors.
Qualification & Technical Skills:
- Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent with a technical background, plastic engineering or packaging engineering,
mechanical engineering, packaging development and product development. - Minimum 8 - 10 years’ progressive experience in product development, packaging development and project management.
- Preferred candidates come from Packaging business.
- Familiarity with product development, project execution, new product launch/relaunch, localization of new product, and methodologies of project management.
- Ability to cost negotiate and understanding of cost drivers, margin and landing factors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Good negotiation skills with customer-oriented attitude.
- Proficient with MS Office applications including MS Project.
