Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, interviewing, and candidate selection. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent. Work with department managers to forecast staffing needs and create hiring plans.
- Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner. Promote a culture of open communication and respect within the manufacturing site. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and performance. Identify training needs and opportunities for career growth and development. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with company standards. Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide recommendations for salary adjustments and promotions. Maintain accurate records of employee compensation and benefits.
- Health and Safety: Collaborate with safety teams to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations. Handle workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs. Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Compliance and Reporting: Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations, ensuring site compliance. Maintain HR records, generate reports, and provide data for management decision-making. Handle HR-related audits and inspections.
- Bachelor or master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of HR management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven experience in staff management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
- English and Japanese proficiency (JLPT: N3 or above)
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities and project management.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
