Job Summary:
The Accounting & Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of the accounting and finance team. This role involves ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with relevant regulations, and timely reporting. The supervisor will collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and provide leadership to the accounting and finance team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
-Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
-Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
-Supervision and Team Management:
-Lead and manage the accounting and finance team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
-Review the work of subordinates for accuracy and completeness.
-Conduct performance evaluations and set performance goals for team members.
-Budgeting and Forecasting:
-Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
-Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide insights to management.
Compliance:
-Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial laws.
-Work with external auditors during annual audits.
Process Improvement:
-Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
-Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Financial Analysis:
-Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
-Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Cash Management:
-Oversee cash management activities, including monitoring cash flows and optimizing liquidity.
-Manage banking relationships and ensure proper reconciliation of bank statements.
Collaboration:
-Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support cross-functional initiatives.
-Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
 
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPD or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
-Proven experience (3-5 years) in accounting and finance roles, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
-Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
-Supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, ERP
-Fair to Good in English
