Our client is a Third-Party Logistics provider. They are looking for a Warehouse Manager in charge for daily operations
Responsibilities:
- Checking-in product received at the assigned cross dock
- Managing the site’s inventory control, which includes preparing the necessary reports to document the results of stock checks, cycle counts and other inventory audit procedures
- Resolves any delivery or customer service issues that arise
- Responsible for the training, evaluation, development and day-to-day management of warehouse
- Create and/or implement operational policy and procedures to ensure effective operations
- Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse
- Oversee all shipping and receiving functions. This will include product, remote route, and cross-dock
- Follow all department and company policies and procedures, and participate in region/node objectives for continued improvement of systems and services
- Collaborate with shared services on customer facing needs (invoice, POS, ordering, and service issues)
- Oversee all inventory management activities and ensure adherence to company policies/procedures
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
• At least 5 to 7 years of warehouse/fleet experience including supervisory experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and capable of designing and improving new systems and procedures
• Technical proficiency with Excel (financial and analytical), MS office
• Effective leadership and relationships with staff, vendors and customers
• Experience establishing and successfully managing an operating budget
• Analytical skills to identify operational opportunities to streamline processes
