Responsibilities:
- Sourcing of new suppliers where required and ongoing management of suppliers
- Manage the monthly supplier KPI process/analysis
- Ensure suppliers’ commitment to and compliance with our quality processes, such as :
- Manage and ensure that company follows the guidelines of Incoterms 2010 (& 2020 when released)
- Development of new reports as required and utilization of existing reports for freight cost analysis
- To oversee the daily management of the following
- Global GAP
- HACCP
- GMP
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry of all origin and destination freight costs into SAP system
- Ensure all staff are entering required freight management data correctly into SAP system
- Manage the gathering of multiple supplier multi modal rate updates each month
- Manage the facilitation of ad-hoc quotations for non-standard freight activities as required
- Manage the output of supplier purchase orders and reconciliation of supplier invoices to POs
- Presentation of supporting documents to accounts department
- Ensure on time billing & associated documentation from suppliers
Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience in managing staff
- Previous experience in general global freight management processes and sourcing of suppliers
- Very good command of English, oral and written, and computer literacy
- Must have experience with SAP or similar global MRP system
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of Incoterms® 2010
