Job Description

  • Act as the figurative head of the organization when communicating with stockholders, government entities and the general public
  • Set the vision for the company and defining the overall strategy from launch to scale
  • Drive growth, profitability and company value
  • Drive day-to-day operations
  • Own the operational budget and managing burn rate
  • Provide expert guidance to all departments
  • Develop and implement scalable and efficient strategies to ensure consistent results and exponential growth
  • Ensure all clinical trials undertaken within the organization comply with the requirements of national and local legislation and ensures appropriate research governance, personnel, systems and structures are in place
  • Ensure effective communication across the organization with key individuals responsible for clinical trials
  • Establish systems for the management of complaints about clinical trials, including clinical trial research misconduct and fraud
  • Ensure supervisors of clinical trial research trainees have the appropriate skills, qualifications and resources
  • Report updates to the Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders regarding progress on strategic goals
  • Build strategic partnerships and relationships to drive growth
  • Be the public champion for the business
  • Establish credibility throughout the customer and partner network

 Requirements

  • Master’s Degree
  • More than 10 years of experience working in upper management in the same or similar industry
  • Preferably experience leading and scaling a high growth start-up with venture funding
  • Experience in setting the vision for the company and defining the overall strategy from launch to scale
  • Proven track record of building successful products and high performing teams from the ground up
  • P&L responsibilities at CEO or another senior level
  • Experience in managing a Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, decision making and communication skills
