Responsibilities:
Responsible for all QA activities and operations to ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer requirements.
Manage quality assurance staff and control quality according to the plan.
Monitor, set goals, and evaluate performance.
Provide guidance to improve the performance of subordinates.
Resolve and make decisions when issues arise during operations.
Address issues from incoming, in-process, to outgoing processes and improve processes to enhance efficiency.
Communicate with customers to confirm quality meets expectations.
Manage labor control and workload assignment for QA members.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality.
Report quality issues to management and related quality procedures.
Inspect processes until products meet quality standards and requirements.
Conduct QA audits, customer audits, and analyze quality risks on the production line.
Continuously study new solutions, technologies, and skills.
Manage necessary documents and reports for submission to customers.
Oversee ISO/IATF systems.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Japanese management.
Quality control tasks
Required Skills / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related industrial fields
At least 7 years of experience in QA/QC positions in the automotive manufacturing industry
At least 7 years of management experience in QA/QC in the automotive manufacturing industry
Conversational level of English
Knowledge of IATF16949, PPAP, MSA, APQP, FMEA, and SPC
Leadership personality with the ability to work as a team
Good supervisory skills, decision-making ability, and effective communication
Proactive attitude with proven problem-solving abilities
