Position Overview: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective management of transportation, warehousing, and distribution functions. This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing logistic activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure adequate stock.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Lead, train, and mentor logistics team members to foster a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and manage budgets and financial reports related to logistics operations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to logistics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Operation Manager or similar role in logistics.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
