Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs.

    • Develop job descriptions and specifications.

    • Source candidates through various channels (job portals, social media, referrals, etc.).

    • Conduct interviews and facilitate the selection process.

    • Oversee onboarding procedures for new hires, including orientation and training.

  2. Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

    • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution.

    • Implement disciplinary procedures when necessary, in line with company policies and labor laws.

    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  3. Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

    • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.

    • Prepare and file necessary reports related to HR compliance.

    • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations that may affect the organization.

  4. Performance Management:

    • Assist in the implementation of performance management systems.

    • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance appraisal processes.

    • Track and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.

    • Support managers in setting performance goals and providing feedback to employees.

  5. Employee Engagement and Culture:

    • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement.

    • Organize employee events and activities to foster a positive work culture.

    • Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.

    • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

  6. HR Administration:

    • Maintain HR databases and employee files.

    • Process payroll and benefits administration.

    • Handle administrative tasks such as preparing employment contracts, letters, and other HR documents.

    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field.

  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.

  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
