Responsibilities:

1.       Lead and drive the overall Operations strategy in alignment with Company goals.

2.       Manage Operations department costs pertaining to direct labour, factory overhead and gross margins.

3.       Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, and productivity and efficiency programs.

4.       Work together with site management in reviewing capacity and capability in developing yearly budget for achieving Company growth targets.

5.       Oversee the production schedules, materials, quality assurance and workforce, to ensure that products are consistently delivered to set standards. 

6.       Work with sales team to lead engineering to fulfil RFQ, RFS, and production while resolving any engineering or quality issues. 

7.       Supervise quality management to ensure that proper documentation processes are in place and maintained, resolving any quality issues with customers or suppliers.

8.       Partner with corporate learning and development to design and implement Operations training program to develop workforce competencies.

9.       Continuously seek to develop and enhance and optimize operations process to develop engineering and production capabilities to achieve company objectives and growth.

10.   10. Supervise and implement a series of protective measures such as fire control, environmental protection, occupational hazards, standardized production safety, hazardous chemicals management, and 6S in the factory.

Requirements

1.       Manufacturing awareness – Understanding the drivers and technologies of a manufacturing organization.

2.       Bachelor Degree or above in Engineering, Business or related

3.       At least 8 to 10 years of working experience in Production manufacturing industry, including operations, quality management and P&L management

4.       At least 5 years in a management position

5.       Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 in lean manufacturing.

6.       Excellent communication and organisational skills.

7.       Strong background in management, 5S and quality assurance.

Preferred Requirements

1.       Working knowledge of die-cut manufacturing process

2.       Lean Manufacturing Principles – Understanding the principles of lean and how to apply to a manufacturing organization.

3.       Six Sigma training preferable. 

4.       Knowledge of manufacturing process, equipment, test / validation / qualification.
