The Textile & Garment Quality Assurance Manager role is responsible for overseeing quality management across multiple manufacturing sites in Thailand and the wider regional network. The position combines regional quality governance, production and process quality control, cost and efficiency management, and audit compliance to support consistent manufacturing standards and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Regional Quality Management
Oversee and standardise quality management systems across multiple manufacturing sites within Thailand and the regional network
Ensure alignment of quality standards, inspection procedures, and best practices across all factories
Conduct regular factory audits and quality reviews to monitor compliance and performance
Collaborate with regional manufacturing and quality teams to resolve critical quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Support new factory onboarding, quality certification programmes, and supplier development across regional operations
Analyse and consolidate quality performance data from multiple sites and provide recommendations to senior management
Production and Process Quality Control
Lead quality inspections for incoming materials, in-process production, and final product audits
Analyse quality performance indicators and identify areas for improvement
Investigate product defects, customer complaints, and quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Collaborate with production, merchandising, technical, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related concerns
Cost and Efficiency Management
Monitor and control production costs, including labour, materials, and chemical usage
Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
Optimise line balancing and capacity utilisation
Audit and Compliance
Coordinate internal and external quality audits
Ensure compliance with brand requirements, social compliance standards, and manufacturing best practices
Lead supplier quality evaluations and improvement programmes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Garment Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) within the textile, garment, apparel, or fashion manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of textile and garment manufacturing processes, quality inspection standards, and testing requirements
Good communication skills in English and Thai
Japanese language proficiency at Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 or above
